INVERSA sources from anywhere the Lionfish is invasive.
INVERSA partners with local fishers and divers to source all of its products. We develop robust economies in underrepresented communities by rewarding the removal of invasive species.
Invasive Lionfish affect over 42+ million livelihoods in the Western Atlantic Basin that make their living from coral reefs. Invasive Lionfish in these regions not only destroy native biodiversity and health of the coral reef systems, but also destroy the livelihoods of local fishermen by killing off the fish they catch for a living. INVERSA is able to provide new jobs and stability in these locales.
